If you have decided to brave the logistics and host your own tailgate at MetLife Stadium, preparation is everything. Once you park your car, you cannot easily leave the lot to run to a grocery store. The Non-Negotiables

These are the items that will literally prevent you from eating or entering the stadium. You must have your digital parking pass pre-loaded on your phone (service in the lots can be spotty), your match tickets secured in your mobile wallet, and physical ID (a passport or driver's license is required if you are drinking alcohol). Do not forget the propane for your grill, the spatula, and a lighter.
